Refuge Arts is proud to partner with Fox Communities Credit Union, Wisconsin Public Radio, and 4th HOOAH for Hopeland Festival, starting tonight at 5:00pm! The visual art portion of Hopeland Festival is spearheaded by Refuge Artist-in-residence, Ally Wilber, who seeks to bring meaningful public art to the event. Our goal is to highlight the value of public art in a community; to beatify as well as to provoke thought and conversation. Join us for the all-ages and FREE event TONIGHT and TOMORROW NIGHT September 21st and 22nd, from 5-10pm in Green Bay, WI for an immersion in music and visual art, as we fill the On Broadway District with three new uplifting murals (one of which viewers will have the opportunity to grab a paintbrush and bring to realization), two sculptures, one live-painting event motivated by musical performance, as well as an alleyway installation/pop-up beer garden filled with light and floral sculpture. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to be inspired by the talented artists, musicians, and community members that surround you.
