An Evening of Holiday Mischief at The Howard on Friday, December 20th and Lawrence Memorial Chapel on Sunday, December 22nd

Founders Grammy Nominated Songwriter Cory Chisel & Adriel Denae added another Evening of Holiday Mischief, this time at both The Howard in Oshkosh and Lawrence Memorial Chapel in Appleton! This is our biggest and longest standing show playing to sold out crowds, and every year we’re asked for a second chance to experience it. So, this year we’ll have two versions of this spirited show at two fantastic locations!

Both nights feature All Star Guests as well as longtime collaborators who will perform their interpretations of traditional songs of the season and debut a few new compositions. A portion of the proceeds from both General Admission & VIP ticket sales benefit Refuge Arts programming over 2020.

For the new night added this year at The Howard in Oshkosh on Friday, December 20th, General Admission tickets are $30 and VIP $100. VIP Ticket holders for the Howard show will enjoy the following: pre-show dinner, meet & greet with Cory Chisel & Adriel Denae, a Holiday toast, special carol sung together, and seating close to the stage.

VIP Arrival at The Howard: 5:30PM

An Intimate Partner Violence Awareness Month Event with They Won't Win

Last Wednesday, we partnered with Diverse & Resilient and Rainbow Over Wisconsin to bring their Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Awareness Month event to our chapel. The program featured a survivor speaker and the band They Won’t Win featuring Danny M. Cohen and Greg Lanier, who were accompanied by cellist Chai Wolfman and keyboardist Ben Walter to highlight this often closeted issue within the LGBTQ community.

They Won’t Win recently released their first full-length album, Lost At Sea, exploring grief, intimate partner violence, LGBTQ acceptance, and the healing power of music-making. The event also celebrated Diverse & Resilient’s opening of a new office in Appleton! Diverse & Resilient has been in Milwaukee for over 20 years, and they are now bringing the Room to Be Safe Anti-Violence Program to Northeast Wisconsin.
