Cory Chisel and Lex Allen live at the History Museum June 19.

Music, like history, helps us understand ourselves and the world we share. Music and history capture, preserve, and document our stories, both the highs and the lows, which define the present. Cory Chisel and the History Museum at the Castle have partnered to archive that shared history in music.

“Our Songs, Our History” is an exclusive concert series featuring gifted musicians performing onstage at the History Museum at the Castle. These cultural events merge live music and access to the Museum’s exhibits, including GUITAR: The Instrument That Rocked The World. Performances will also be recorded and become the backbone of Appleton’s first audio archives. Experience “Our Songs, Our History” and help us document tomorrow’s past today.
